Title.

for some reason when I feed this tank fish food or Red Sea AB+ it gets dramatic and starts to look all weird.

Is this stress or just a feeding response?

Can’t tell for certain, but I think it’s normal, do the polyps go come out, then go in when you feed, do you broadcast or target it, with flow on or off?

I broadcast feed with the flow off. And polyps for the most part go in and out throughout the day. It’s only this acro that does this

Hmmm it might be just the mucas it creates when it feeds! Hopefully someone with more sps experience can help you out

The tip where the most is coming out is white but has a polyp. Assuming maybe growth?

There is every chance, I would just monitor it, it could be rejecting the food, I know it takes time for them to digest it, and the last thing you want is it rotting inside it! But as long as it’s still got it’s colour and not bleaching!
