As sad as this thread may make people I wanted to started a thread showing your favorite colones/show pieces that you've had, and lost.

This was my favorite acro in the WHOLE entire world. Im no acro expert so I don't know what type it is so if someone could chime in I'd really appreciate it. I have never seen another with this structure for sale. I got it from liveaquaria for 120 and it looked just like strawberry shortcake. Lost it to rtn 4 weeks after I bought it :(

I wish I would of kept pics of the stuff I lost. For some reason I am unable to keep red planet...

Yeah it was awesome. And check out liveaquarias diversden. They get in colonies that are like 250 max and they are huge, obviosly wild however but they are kept for awhile before they are put up and dont feel bad red planet isnt my friend either haha

My skimmer quite working and before I got a new one they all rtn on me. Now I learned to have a back up skimmer

This was a favorite of mine, DD maricultured piece. A temp increase of 2 degrees killed it unfortunately.

Hurricane or not, I'd be stripping my stuff out like ASAP. If evacuated 1st out would be my cats, then my tank...I know that must have been so hard knowing that your tank was just left

Yea it was tough. I got my cats out and didn't really have any other option than to leave the tank and its contents. I did not expect that I wouldn't be allowed to return for 9 days. At least my home was sparred and the people I care about were safe.

From what I can remember, some of my most missed losses were:

Large Hawkins Echinata colony grown from a 1" frag for about 2 years
Large colony of purple rim green cap grew from 1"
Mini colonies of:
Oregon Blue Tort
Metallic Blue Mille
Bubble Gum Millie
Sunset Millie
Rainbow Mille
Strawberry Fields Cap
Purple Monster
Strawberry Shortcake
Undata
Jedi Mind Tricks
Rainbow Nasuta
Raspberry Nasuta
many more frags of mid/high end SPS that I started to grow out.

That's scary, sorry to hear that. Did you lose them all at once?
