My acros used to grow thicker and more outwards when I had LED with t5s. I switched over to full LEDs a few months ago and now I'm noticing the acros growing vertically and skinnier. Plants will often grow tall and skinny when there is little sunlight. Is it the same with the acros, should I increase the LED intensity?

What leds are you using and at what intensities do you have them now?

I have two mitras at 60 percent. A photon 48 with all blues at 30 percent and a blue strip light with 36 3 w blue led at 100%.

Yeaterday i bumped up the mitra to 75 and the photon to 40%.

This is a 120 4’x2’

I have always ran my mitras at 100% full blown. I bought them for the power. I came from MH's, so the more light the better. Crank them to 100%. I don't use any acclimation or any of that crap. Its simply not needed on a mitras which has great spread of light.

lol me neither, I've never acclimated a coral to LEDs and ive never had one bleach. I'm gonna give it a few weeks and see how the growth continues. I might blast them after that.
