So have an aqua delight acro that has good color. The ends of a few branches look like tissue is growing but no bone structure underneath. The one end actually looks like the tissue has a hole in it. If I use a baster I’m sure I would just blow the tissue off. Anyone have any idea. Best pictures I could get.

I have the exact opposite happening.

Maybe it's too much par....? Coral growing away from the light.... no idea. Be interested to know myself

I noticed something very similar on a WWC Yellow Tips I have where it was getting hit with direct constant flow from my return. No clue if that was the cause. It was also the highest coral in my tank.

Oh I take that back - Mine is bony growth, not fleshy without bone like in your description...

Thanks guys. I was thinking of cutting those pieces off. But don’t wanna do that just yet. It has good color and chemistry has been same for past few months nice and stable. Only chemistry piece a little off is calcium and has been low now for months always hanging In The 380 range. I moved it a little lower in the tank as it’s on a drag rack and will continue to monitor it. Thanks!
