My tank is 68g lots of flow, parameter's are good all original corals ding great! Zoas, hammers, sea whip, mushrooms, trumpets. I have 2 kessil led's and 2 power heads.
I purchased a few small SPS frags a few weeks ago.
I dipped all my coral in Revive coral cleaner and never had an issue. So my new frags all got dipped the same way. I asked the seller if I can dip like that and he said he recommends "Bayer" and said there was info on line on how to do it..
So my frags arrived and I thought I would TRY the Revive since It has worked so well and had a problem immediately!
First I want to say its MY fault for not researching further but I didn't know the revive would or could white out the frags until after I dipped them and asked the seller about it...

So here is my question. I had asked the seller this but still haven't heard back. Guess I'm not going to. Lots of correspondence prior to my purchase.
One frag is strawberry shortcake. The other I' not sure that name because it looks different than the pic and very well may be a different frag than I ordered but it was still a very nice piece! It's a branching teal color frag that is now totally white. However, it is growing! But no color at all. It looks awful but I'm pretty sure It is bigger. Anything I can do?
If I was to cut as if to propagate, would that help? Maybe that sounds stupid! Looking for some advice.. The strawberry shortcake turned from pinkish to white after the dip to brown so I think its a goner! I have another also maybe "Joe the coral" Also not doing well.
PLEASE, any advice at all would be helpful! I got a good deal on the corals but now that they are almost dead it was a waste of money and I fee awful that I ruined them...

It's not unusual for frags to brown out after shipping and dipping stress. Can you please follow at some pictures and actual tank parameters? It may help. Also did these frags come from an led lit tank? If not you may need to also light acclimate them. Meaning start them down low and gradually move them into higher light.

Well they did have color and looked really good when they arrived. I believe it was after the Revive dip they whited out. I will try to post a pic.. But is there anything that I can do?

From the sound of it just put them on the bottom, leave them alone until any color shows up (usually brown) and cross your fingers. They may die but that stuff happens. Once they start to darken you can start to move them towards a suitable location but not before.

I agree with above. The dip can be stressful. I have seen this happen a good amount of times and it usually works out for the best with a little time.

ok, I will try that but at the moment it is at the top of my tank and appears to be growing even though its white.. I guess I should still remove it from that location?

I've dipped all my sps in revive and never had bleaching issues.

Bleached or not your frags should be on the sand bed for a week. If they are new. Then start working them up your rock worn.

It got stressed and expelled the zooxanthellae algae.
Low light and plenty of flow
Hope they recover!

Really? So maybe the revive didn't hut them after all! Ill move them now! Thanks
