Been struggling with sps and can't figure out the problem. Ran a ICP test and the results are posted. Tank specifics

50 gallon cube
Radion G4 pro with t5 supplement (425 par at top)
3x mp10wqd
Vortech return
Nyos skimmer
Dosing ATI 2 part

Who has an idea? Sps fade in color in 10 days or so and then polyps die. Picture of a current sps posted as well

It’s hard to say. There are so many variables and an ICP test is just the tip of the iceberg.
The age of your tank is one of the biggest. Too much flow, too little flow, wrong spectrum of light, photoperiod, and most importantly, stability. Alkalinity stability is the #1 thing you need to shift your attention to. How much does it fluctuate each day? No3? Po4 fluctuations? Carbon dosing? Etc etc etc.

Each tank in itself is unique. Mine, for example, is currently at .40, yes .40 phosphate. Most people would tell me I’m nuts, but my acros thrive. I also have no algae.

Alk is the first place I started. Testing once a day for two weeks all win 15 minutes of the same time daily. Avg was 8.6 with high of 8.8 and low of 8.3. Tank is about 2.5 years old.

Too much light maybe? What’s your photoperiod?
I see tip burn. Try bringing your alk down. 7.5 would be a safe bet. If your salt mix is high to begin with, try a different brand that mixes lower. Base up STN/RTN is quite possibly lack of flow. At the same time you don’t want to blast the skin of the corals either.

Lights start at 10 and ramp up radion off at 8. T5 come on at 1130 off at 530. Pumps are on 50% each.

For the aluminum and tin try PolyFilter pad works great. Amazon has a three pack for a great price. Could help.

I have poly filters on order now. I have three hinges on my stand door. Waterbox stands are very tight. The three hinges are really rusted. Could this cause the tin/aluminum problem?

Its a possibility. Get new hinges for the doors. When you do put a light coat of petroleum jelly on them. That will help keep the walt water at bay. Thats the advise I got from my LFS who sold me a Red Sea...

The colors might benefit from a trace element supplement. Or it may not be a chemical issue at all.
I am dosing redsea ab+ just checked for stray voltage. Sump had a constant reading of .06 even after turning everything off. Only think still plugged in was ato pump that sits in a different reservoir that is in the sump. Main bounced a little from 0.00 to 0.15
