Would anyone here know what can possibly cause this type of STN from the tips on acros?
They will eventually die in about 2 months from very slow tissue necrosis from the tips.

A few key elments here:
I use zeovit and parameters are ULS
Ca-425
Alk- 7.5
Salinity 1.026
Nitrate/phosphate 0
K- 420
I dose BRS two part

No leathers and not newly added. about 6 months ago

I run KZ carbon 500 ml in a bag passive in the sump

Man this is a hard one to pin down!
Do you watch your tank at night to make sure nothing is picking at the tips?
It looks like damage by the coral reaction or toxins but that would so tank wide.

I figured it must be something within the tank and I always check at night and dip/qt coral.
If there was a pest in the tank it would attack the coral from the base not tip

whats really weird is only some sps shows signs of stress... and all acros.

In the image I see a Digitata with new growth tips and an acropora up front showing mesenteiral filaments. Are you feeding your corals at all? The acropora look like they need some nutrition to me.

Looks like some type of toxins, maybe cutting down on your carbon might help. Can you post a fts pics

I agree with Tahoe. The Montie is showing new growth. The Acro is not showing RTN but is not happy when mesenteirial filiments are out like that.

Any kind of monties, birds nest, bird of paradise, zoanthids, lps I have no issues with.

I alternate every day with 4 drops of Coral Vitalizer followed by 4 drops of Zeofood. I also feed RedSea reef energy A and B twice a week

Here is a full tank shot as of last week or so.

Tank is a standard 120 custom made rimless with low iron on three sides 4*2*2

Does the acro always look like that? Sometimes mine will extend their filiments when I mess with the tank. I always assume it is because I have stirred things which may elicit a feeding response. But they do not stay out for long.

for 10 months month the acro grew from this and nver had any fillament issues in the past, perhaps when i messed with the tank for a cleaning or something among the lines.

Oh I've been watching them for a while.
From that pic above the top left acro is done for as well after it colored up in such amazing color, everyone was like whats that....
For example that bleached bird's nest in the middle is about two feet long now (can be seen at the back of the tank and right side under the frag tank)
The birds of paradise, bottom right besides the circled acro is about a foot long... So I've had growth (just past two months I've been having issues and cant figure out why.

I also do 10g of water change continuous through a Apex DOS.

some Acros can withstand fluctuations and some cannot. The Birds of Paradise is very hardy. If your tests are all reading OK, then the next step would be to check the test kits and your refractomer. Also, if you have had your calibration fluid for a long time buy new. How are the filters on your RO? It may be time to change them.

Lets see,
I tested my kits against two of my friends and they were within 1-2% difference
I use a refractometer which I calibrate on regular basis (was checked two weeks ago against my friends refractometer)
My Rodi filters are about 11 months old and I ordered a brand new RO/ unit from BRS as they had the black friday sale going on. The TDS in my city water is 11-12 so I don't believe the filters are stressed. They all look new besides the RO membrane which I have no way checking.
My RO unit is controller by a RO buddie which flushes the unit out every single time the buddy starts.

My Canna Stick Acro will do this time to time if im cleaning the glass and the sand or if im picking algae off rocks. should bounce back in a few hours
