My gyre cage rotated and directed the flow (xf250 at 100%) directly at some SPS. My TSA fallen angel acro too the worst hit. Another chunky pink frag also got hit. Everything else looks like it is fine. Will they recover? And tips to aide recovery. The rest of the tank is doing great.

They will. Put them in low flow area. It looks like the flow took the skin right off them. You can also get a dip that encourages healing. Maybe Coral Up or similar.

There is still some skin that was protected from the direct hit by the branches.

I think I may turn the flow down a bit on that side.

I also raised my halide a bit so it gets a little reprieve from the coral cooker.

I don't think I will move it due to added stress.

Don’t do anything other than ensure the flow doesn’t hit like that again.
In a stable system where the acros are growing, this is just a bump in the road. They will recover in weeks time.
It has happened to me and took about 3 weeks to recover in a well established growing reef.
