Hello, R2R!

Not sure what type of SPS this guy is. It was sold to me as a Red Dragon look-alike. Is it even the same species? It is still a bit brown, but the tips are turning out to be a little purple, while the base is coming out to be more red. Sorry the picture is kind of... tilted. :3

Any help is appreciated! :)

I don't think it's a lokani or granulosa, it doesn't look like a carduus either (red dragon). How big is it? The sideways picture makes my eyes hurt.

Its pretty large... probably about 3" tall with multiple branches.

I have seen a few maricultured Acropora awi that have been going around lately. That would be my guess. Yours is mostly axial corallites, with a few small radial corallites here and there. A. awi would probably have more radials on the new growth. The blunt tips are similar. That is the closest i can find.

If they branches and corallites were thinner, I would say Acropora turaki as my guess.

From the pictures you provided, and from looking at it, it looks more similar to the Turaki or the Carduus.
