I picked up a browned out coral and it is starting to shift colors. Looking for some assistance on the type of SPS this would be.

It might need to grow out a bit more to get a positive ID. It's super hairy and colorful though! I love seeing browned out frags turn into gems, well done.
Growth pattern will certainly help! Thanks @DSC reef

I had the same exact thoughts.... maybe Millepora, but not sure. The best thing is that it turns steel blue in the vein of Palmers Mille.

Looks like at this point you can separate and leave the 3 others on the rack for frags to grow out. Unfortunately, the way you have placed them, you may have an issue with the grow out frags as they will spread onto the rack before encrusting the whole plug.

It actually never attached to the other plugs. I may snip some of the overhang off and glue them to plugs for grow out. We'll see.

Oh ok. Looks are deceiving. Well I would leave the overhang as it will attach firmly to a rock when you glue it. You can always frag it later.
