Sps ID?

Hey all,,

does anyone know what this particular SPS is? The top is dead and covered in various junk

and coraline but you see the Purple and green starting fresh at the bottom.

Is it to early to tell if it is plating or branching?

If I had to make a guess at the actual species I would guess Acropora tortuosa, which a branching species.

Thank you. We shall see in a couple months or more how this thing develops.

I was going to chop off the dead but I would rather leave it be for now.
