Sps in 32.2 fluval

Has anyone tried a sps dominate reef in the fluval 32.2? Of course I would use two of the fluval 3.0 leds. And would add a power head or two. I sent the question to fluval not helpful. So thoughts?

Absolutely no idea how big that is, but if it’s 32ltrs or 32 gallons I think you need a lot of experience to get an sps dominated tank in that, and dosing equipment probably needs to be high end stuff.

Tank size doesn't typically determine what you can or can't keep but rather the equipment, time and attention to detail. Go slow as SPS need an established system, stable parameters and a fair amount of extra attention.

I had a red sea 110 with huge sps colonies. But yes it was labor intensive And I ran dosing pumps and a large skimmer but fish load was higher as well. This time cut fish load back. The led 3.0 lights I’m concerned about enough par. And the skimmer is of course small.

I just got my tank up and running not too long ago and I got my first corals 2weeks ago (GPS and Palys). The Palys are opening but the GPS isn’t. I was told by the coral shop that the Fluval 3.0 at best will only grow softies. At $170 for the second light without the power adapter I’m just thinking about upgrading to better lights and ditching the lid.
