Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone has experience in keeping SPS (Acros in particular) in LED lighting. I've heard mixed reviews and want to know what you all think before I even consider proceeding in getting a few frags

World wide corals used radion gen 4 pros on their tanks. They have been switching one tank at a time away from t5s and to the radions

I've used exclusively LED for the past 8 years on various tanks. No problems at all growing SPS. My current 180g is sps dominated and my lights have no problem with coverage.

The bad reviews are mostly experienced reefers who switch to LED and don't realize they have a learning curve; instead, they try to do it the halide or T5 way.

Starting out fresh, you have to learn your lighting no matter what light you use. Might as well do it the 21st century way.

Know plenty of people that had/have great results with leds and acros. I've got an xxl clam living happily under leds too.

I switched from Halides to Radions a bit over a year ago. Never looked back.

ALL SPS in my tank and they all grow like weeds.

No bulbs to replace, set the color where I want, ramp up/down and I cut my electric bill in half.
No brainier if you ask me.

I heart my leds. They've brought out some great colors. Although I'm still on the ramp up, I'm seeing great potential in what I have. For example, this paletta tri color was totally browned out due to under powered lights when I changed tanks. Went from kessil 160s to an SB Reeflight and making a huge difference so far. And also a pic of an SC Orange Passion I snagged up. And lastly, excuse the reflection, but here's a top down shot I took earlier today.

New to LEDS here. T5's for years and years. Got mine back October 16. There is a learning curve to them, slow and steady.
My acros, montipora caps, digatas as well as LPS have been growing fast with good color and excellent polyp extension. Very happy to have switched.
