So I'm just getting into sps and was wondering the best way to acclimate them to my lighting.. I have a 72 bow front with 2 120w DIY led lights with 120degree optics.. should I start them In the sand bed or place them up top? Wondering what you guys do when acclimating a new sps coral? Thank you for the help

sandbed for a few days(3-7) then medium way up or fringe region(frag rack) for a few days(5-6). then where ever I want it to go from there.
If they came from another tank with similar lighting to mine I will not be as strict with acclimation, but whenever coming from another lighting source such as metal halide or t5 I take it slow.
