My sps isn't quite bleaching but a few of them have lost their color and look real bland. It's mainly the pieces that are mostly purple, like my bonsai, others look great. Any ideas?

Is that phosphate really .25?
In theory it should be browing, right?

How far from the light is the coral?

Browning? Not really. They're about another 8 inches from the surface of the water
With higher nutrients(like yours and mine), browning is common, not bleaching usually.
Hows the flow. Like a storm I hope?

Both my tanks are in the po4 .25 or a bit less, both with acros. And yes, API. (just finished killing Bryopsis so its high right now).
and I can show you tanks with MUCH higher PO4 with acros. like 3.0

so I personally dont think its phosphates. unless they're low.

What's a better test kit I should get to read that loe
Have you played with the lights at all recently?
Lots of algae?
Huge refugium or ats?
What are you dosing?
What salt mix? and WC sched?

If water parameters are kept in check and are always stable, good source water (RO/DI), quality salt mix, proper temp, proper flow, proper lighting, proper placement of the corals.......then lack of trace elements and amino acids could be the problem. Corals need food. Feeding them is as important as all of the above.

Water changes can't keep up on trace elements.

I've just started dosing trace elements and AA's. Seeing improvement in polyp exstension and color since.
