I get busy for 3 months away of tank and i move all my sps frags to A friend tank.

Kh :8.00
Nitrate : 0.5

That what exactly happen to the other pcs they starting loosing color of tips then they get like loosing tissue

What I know about RTN/stn it comes from the base of coral , but here it's looking like burning tips

1st picture is definitely growth. second one is a bit overexposed so cant really tell.

But really i can tell its loosing tissue from tips ,
So lets say what cause loosing tissue from tips ? Alkalinity swing , and buring light , what else u can suggest from ur experience to loose tissue from the tips

is the water smell stink?
if the sps is rtning, it usually makes the water very smell

If there's no algae growing on it then its probably growth, test every thang . I wouldn't frag it till algae grows on it

What the point of algea growing ? Can u explain more ??

Algae generally starts growing on dead coral before anything else. Unless you are running a ULNS, which according to your numbers, you aren't, pretty soon after tissue recedes from the tips, they will become covered in algae. I agree with the others. It looks like new growth.

Are you using gfo? Carbon source? Dosing any potassium supplements?

Defiantly looks like some of the new growth has been burned. What is your nutrient levels and what were they previously when the coral was added?
