Hey wanted to know if anyone has experienced any structural morphs on their corals like this JD. Apparently the guy had it under very low flow and his tank was like a roller coaster. The branches are now very thin and the only coloration is the green with red polyps.

A reef raft jawdropper. Not my coral but was just curious about abnormal growth structure.

No clue, but the question should be, why would anyone drop that kinda $ on a single sps and keep them under subpar condition?

Yeah he wasn't well informed about what conditions the coral needed or misinformed shall I say. The odd thing about it are those long branches.

I agree it looks completely different hence why I was asking about morphs. Also it's not fully colored up. He had it under very low light and low flow. His tank also went through a couple crashes. It's not my piece I just snapped a pic because it was surprising to see. I know the guy that sold him the piece originally when it was just a tiny frag.

It has since been moved to better conditions and a more stable tank. I'll see if I can get an update on it in a couple weeks.
