Here are a few pictures of what should be a Red Planet. However, it seems to be "browning" out and I can't figure it out. It is about 8 inches from a MP 10 on 75% reef crest and about 20 inches from a 250 watt MH with a Phoenix 14k bulb. (Pictures taken with my IPHONE). Could it be a light supplement issue? Meaning all i run is a 250 MH 14k bulb with no actinic bulb. It doesn't appear to be stressed by anything, but I did have a issue with those tube snails which i forget the name of.

Here are my parameters:
Calc 450
ALK 8
Mag 1400
Phos = Undectable
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
Ammonia = 0

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks!

I am certainly no expert, but from what I can see of the coral structure in your second pic (axial corralites in particular), that does not look like an ORA Red Planet frag.

Here's a pic of one of our small colonies of Red Planet

Both are the same frag, however, regardless of if it is a ORA or not. Any advice on why it is browning?

When RP gets browned out that is exactly what it looks like. I keep mine higher in the tnak, 10" from a 250 pheonix and it is getting better and better color. Sometimes it takes time to get the color you want.

So is it just adjusting to the light?

You levels look good, keep them real steady and give it time. Keep us updated on its progress, I wanna see an amazing colony in the future.
