New find for me today. Well I'm not really a big SPS person but I saw this piece and just had to grab it up. The funny thing is I'm a Zoanthid person thought when I set this tank up I would only have zoas guess not.

Take a look let me no what u think maybe even the name of it. Not sure what is is just no it's a got nice blue tips.

Wow ok thanks for all the input. So I'm guessing that it was a good find. Is there anything I need to no about the lighting do they like to be high up or middle of tank or at the bottom. What would be the best placement for this guy for the best coloration. Like I said I no more about zoas then SPS.

No way it is a bonsai. It is definitely a deeper water acro. No way to truly identify the species - however based on the look of the coralites and skin, it could be almost anything from a suharsoni, carolinian, lokani, echninta, or one of the other hundreds of nameless "deep water acro's" that are for sale at the various LFS and online vendors. I would simply call it a "deep water acro"...

Some kind of deepwater. It's very very nice. Good catch.
