Hi all
I've had a bit of s problem with aefw
To me it has completely destroyed my tank I have about 6 small pieces that are stripping and wondered if there is any coming back from this
I had to go down the aefw purge root as I spotted these guys fast
But after adding that stuff my water parameters have been all over the shop and now not sure if my lights are finish them off
Has anyone had this?

I am unfamiliar with Purge; I thought they stopped making/selling that but perhaps not.

If the corals are stressed (for whatever reason) they will stop taking up alkalinity, so keep an eye on that and cut back two-part dosing or the calcium reactor.

You could also bring the lights down, if they have an acclimation setting I would flip that switch and reduce lighting by 50% and ramping back up over 2 weeks or so.

For the aefw, some coris, melanurus and some sixline wrasses can be taught to eat them if you keep them a little hungry for a few days. Then baste the corals with some RODI water. The worms will release and get eaten.

Yeah still selling well hear in the uk I know

I have been the hole month cycle of it
Its bin absolute nightmare in the first 2 doses of purge half my tank stripped
These are the survivors that that not in good shape
I have toned down the dosing
I will definitely drop my lights on acclimateing mode now cheers
