I was just wondering how to determine what species of sps go where in the tank I have sps now that are doing good I have a 90 gallon tank with sump I my perameters are good I use a 6 bulb ati sunpower with 4 blue+ 1 coral+ and a puple+ the reason I am asking is that I see so many tanks that have sps on the bottom of there tanks growing good. So the question I have I guess is how to determine which need higher light or is it based on color blues at bottom greens on top reds in middle? I know its a weird question but was just wondering thanks

Most acro's you see on the bottom are the low light acropora dragons acropora fenneri acropora wallindi . cyphastrea some pavonas but it has nothing to do with color of the sps coral and you could really grow any kind of sps on the bottom of your tank if your par levels are correct but would need a par meter to be sure of that hope this helps
