Sps snipping pest

Lately, over the past month or 2 every time I try to add sticks to my tank be it acro, digitata etc. During the night something in my tank is snipping the tops off of them, like just the tips. Right through the bone. All I have in my tank is 2 percula clown fish, 12 zebra hermits,12 blue leg hermits, 1 tail spot wrass, 1 pearly jaw fish, 1 snowflake eel, a strawberry crab, astrea snails and a couple small turbo snails. Any ideas what could do this?

Can’t wait to find out what it is along with you. How much of the tip? A nibble or looks like an alien came down with bone cutters and lopped off an inch? Is it a clean break at the tips? You may have tried this, but using a red light at night to spot anything in your acros may help. Definitely following along.

This time only about an eighth inch clean cut on both my purple acro and my German blue digitata but in the past it's been literally in half

Wow. Are there any remnants of the tips or are they totally gone? Pics would be helpful for whomever is going to help you crack this (it won’t be me sorry). @ReefSquad
