Sps tank

I have a 90 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump which has been neglected for the past couple years while I was breeding clown fish. I am at the point that I can go any direction with this setup. If you could start fresh setting up a SPS system which way would you go? Please help a brother out!!

What type of lighting? I am building a t5 led hybrid. Filtration? I am planing on two part dosing. Would you run carbon and gfo? Carbon dosing?
