Hey everyone
3rd question for the day ;)
I recently got 3 sps frags. Keepinh lps for years and starting my sps journey. My kh was 10 now moving to 8.
Anyway I got 3 small frags. One (pup with green polyp) has done nothing, the birdsnest is slowly entrusting its plug. But this random other one has encrusted , grown literally cms in weeks and is taking over the very small rock I put them all on. (I know silly).
Question is what happens when sps meet, will they stop entrusting or will it take over all?
Worried the worst one is growing hands done the best. And getting blander the more it grows.
Ps. Top left sps is issue

Depending on the coral, yes they can actually have chemical warfare and kill each other. This alone is good reason to give ample room between each new addition

Anything is possible Depending on the coral. I posted a picture earlier of what a pavona can do. It cares not what coral it encounters, it just blasts right over anything like lava. Others may meet and give up while other may fight it out. Here’s my Pavona example. That rock used to be a big montipora digitata and a huge acropora secale. Pavona is winning.
