I've been using Kent's Essential Trace Elements but I'm about to run out. So I was curious what everyone's go to trace supplement?

I'm looking at giving Fauna Marin balling trace elements a try but I'm not sure how I'd pair those with my calcium reactor. It sounds appealing as they claim it can be place on a doser, which I have lying around. Does anyone here use and stand by this stuff?

I'd like to hear of your Amino Acid of choice as well, if any.

I've used acropower and like it a lot. But I don't have a calc reactor, I use BSR 2part. What else are you looking to dose?

If you have carx reactor, you do not need to dose any chasing elements. But you can dose K, Iron, Amino Acids, ect to color up your corals.

I personally recommended KZ products. They are great and quick improvement. But the price is little expensive compare to others.

Water changes

Well I do plenty of those so maybe I'm good. I have a maxima and thought they were known to really suck up calcium, iodine along with other trace elements. My sps are growing very well and I just want to make sure they stay that way :)

I'm not sure. I've used acropower in the past and saw good polyp extension. Maybe I'll give that a go again.

Good to know!
I've thought about dosing potassium ect. I think I'm going to do a triton test first and see where im at.

I've wanted to try the KZ amino and other supplements, but was worried it might be a waste if I wasn't doing a full zeo system. Maybe I'll start with their amino acid and see how it goes.

Thanks for the input everyone.

Following!

I rotate my amino acid brand each time I run out. Currently, it's a nice rotation of Red Sea Energy, Fauna Marin Ultra Amin, and TLF Acropower.

You can also try ME amino acids. I heard good reviews from them as well

I've tried his magnesium. Great stuff, mixed very well with no sediment at the bottom of my jug.

I'll try his amino acid next. I picked up some Pohl's amino & coral vitalizer.

I use me aminos and its ben good so far. As of trace elements the balling or b ionic method is awesome, i use bionic in conjuction with (not so much considered trace element) potassium dosing seemed to do the trick for me

I use Red Sea reef energy A&B and also dose their Colors A,B,C,D. I've always followed this program and have great colors across the board in all of my corals, not just SPS

Zeovit systems are really nice. But you don't have to use the full system to use some of their products. I'm going to give spurenelemental a try; trace elements.

I am currently doing Aquaforest products. In the past 30 years of SPS keeping I have used everything.:) I have always found supplements to be helpful corals take up a lot of elements and while they can survive with less they flourish with more. Most people in the US want water changes to do it all which would require a whole lot of water changes daily to achieve the results that Aquaforest ,Zeovit or Fauna's zeo system demonstrate.

Nice, what brand of potassium are you dosing? I've been considering that for a while. The Pohl's stuff is a little pricey

I loved the Energy A&B on my 66g, but for some reason I got some seriously strange algae when dosing it this time around. I still have it in the fridge and may try it again once the system matures a little bit more.

Maybe try not dosing every night
