SPS Worms?

Are these vermetid worms? I am not sure. Part of this tissue was dying now its coming back but it looks like there are tube worms in it.

I read a few references that say barnacles are fine. But is this something that could spread to another coral? The blue coral seems to be growing fine. I would just prefer that the barnacles stay on this piece and not spread.
