Those new zoas are beautiful! hope you get your sps back on track soon as possible. I am usually facing phosphate issues when mine start to act up like that.

I do dose mag but not very often. I usually bring it up to around 1550ppm and let it gradually fall. The last time I checked it it was 1500ppm.

Thanks! I'll have some numbers today. I run three filter socks which in the past I haven't ever used. I may be pulling them out if I find that my nitrates and phosphates are high.

Numbers are in: Phosphates 0.00ppm and nitrates 0.0ppm. Could this be my issue? If these numbers are right, sure. That would be my guess. So today Im going to add an extra feeding.... so that would make me feeding the system 3 times daily and take my GFO off line. Hoping this is my issue. I'll test again next week and hope too see my SPS bounce back. Any thoughts?

Thinking about taking the aqua socks out tomorrow and buying a couple more fish to add to the bioload. Nothing too fancy.

I don't typically make large adjustments after 1 reading..

GFO was ready to be changed so I just took it out. I may even knock my skimmer back a little.

I hear you! That's what I'm dealing with also. What makes my acros happy melts my zoas... love the gobstoppers
