Corals are looking so much better. What is your Po4 level now?

This is a newer frag that I acquired from a friend. The mother colony of this one has blue polyps. You can see the axial corallite on this frag has the blue pigment in the polyp.

Very nice! Wish I could pull that much orange out of my sunset.
Thank you! I hope it gets even more orange! I have a rescue piece (millepora) that if I can bring it back is all "copper" in color.

Beautiful corals and excellent photography skills!
I'm interested in your light schedule as I'm running the same RB Hybrid fixture. JP

Thanks! I need to get around to cleaning my lens. My lighting schedule is a bit like this: 3pm actinics on- 4pm halides on-11pm halides off-1200am actinics off.

Interesting schedule. Are they 250W SE, and are you running their dim able ballasts? Asking because I run the XHOs for 12 hours with a short ramp up and down but only run the MHs 5 hours. The corals seem to like it and get plenty of light. How deep is your tank and how high are the lights a over the water? I'm using the RB 14K SE bulbs. Thanks and sorry for all the questions. JP

No problem. Fixture is about 12" above the water. Running Phoenix 14k but will turn over to Radiums. To the eye they both look the same. I'm using Lumatek ballast to run my bulbs.

Picked up a new coral today! Hot pink and yellow goniopora. I'll take another pic once it opens all the way out. Been wanting this one for a while!
