Thanks Ricky! Yours will be coming around soon! I can't tell you how frustrating the cycle for this system was!..LolTank is looking good, very clean live rock!
Thanks! I'm super stoked I'm pulling out the purple tips!
How long did it take for the algae to die off the rocks before it was ready for coral? Did you run the lights at a normal time cycle during this period? Thanks Ricky! Yours will be coming around soon! I can't tell you how frustrating the cycle for this system was!..Lol

Thanks! Thanks for reading my build thread! Your reef looks like it's coming along very nicely. ORA Hawkins is one of my favorites and safe to say a staple coral for every SPS reef. Im still learning the camera too. I just need to figure out how to take those cool actinic shots!..LolI figured I would stop by again and say "hello".
I will eventually get caught up on your thread .
Love the Hawkins. Mine has a whole cluster that is totally purple..
I just got to figure out how to use a camera ..Glad things are tthings turning around .
Any who back to reading your thread .
I ran lights just to view the tank at first but then slowly added hours to the cycle to give the clean up crew some food. My issue may have been a nutrient issue or the lack of and just some good ole fashion "time" to age a little. How long did it take for the algae to die off the rocks before it was ready for coral? Did you run the lights at a normal time cycle during this period?
