Also, I would be very grateful if you can do the summarise the following info so it can be seen at a glance:

1. Equipment: lights/skimmer/flow
2. Filtration: GFO/GAC/Refugium/BioPellets/Carbon Dosing?
3. Fish stock?
4. What foods do you feed the fish and how often?
5. Dosing/Ca Reactor/Additives (eg Acropower etc)?

Tank: Reef Savvy custom 150 48"x36"x20" 3.75" glass tank. Ghost Overflow with dual return
Sump: Aqua Box custom build
Return pump: Reef Octopus dc 5500
Skimmer: Deltec APF 800
Lighting: Reefbrite Halide Hybrid running 2x 250 Phoenix mogul's and 60 Royal Blue LED's
Chiller: Oceanic 1/4 hp
Water motion: 1xVorTech MP60 1xVorTech MP40
Salt: Red Sea Coral Pro

Maintenance: Every week I do a 10% water change. Daily I dose 10ml of Red Sea potassium supplement and feeding usually entails PE mysis shrimp, sometimes I do change up. From time to time I do dose Oyster Feast (Reef Nutrition) I was feeding Cobolt's Coral food but feel that Oyster Feast is a more appropriately sized food for SPS corals.
For nutrient export I skim dry and clean the collection cup on a regular basis. I run ROX carbon and ROWA in nylon bags in a chamber in the sump that gets good flow. I also vacuum detritus from the sump once a month and run three nylon filter socks off the drain.

Nothing wrong with the product , I thought about using it again . It's a great product . I am unsure of what's different in the new formula -BIO Actif part...
I have a childhood friend that live's in Quinton ? I may take a road trip n hope to meet u @ your favorite reef store in Richmond .
BTW where did u source an Oregon Tort ?

Yes, Bio Calcium...Ha! Old skool is the way I go sometimes. I'll end up running a calcium reactor on line in the future. Come on up! Tiki Corals is not too far at all and a really fun little shop run by Jim and Louise.
The Oregon Tort came directly from Travis "the source" at Upscales a while back.

Thank you! Well.......good question. It all depends. First off when I do get a coral frag I find out what light conditions it was under. So if it's similar to what Im doing then Im not too worried about light shock. For example the Cali Tort I received a while ago was under 400 watt metal halides. Im running 250's so really no acclimation there. If it was the other way around I would start it low on the frag rack and gradually rise the coral to where I want to place it. But for the most part unless it's from one extreme to another I don't really bother.

Red Bugs are inevitable. It happens all part of the hobby. Yes I do have a doggy treat for them in the mean time..LOL!!
