Just to give a quick recap of what Im running.....tank, skimmer, lights etc. I know this build thread is lengthy and finding some of the pages/post where I explain what Im running could be time consuming to find, so here's a short colaborated run down of what makes up my reef set up.

Tank: ReefSavvy custom peninsula style 150. Dimensions 48"x36"x20" 3.75" glass thickness. 24" Ghost Overflow. Dual return

Stand: Custom father and son build.

Skimmer: DELTEC APF800

Return Pump: Reef Octopus DC5500

Sump: AquaBox

Chiller: Oceanic 1/4hp chiller

Light fixture: ReefBrite Halide Hybrid. 2x Radium 250 watt mogul. 60 Royal Blue LED's

Ballast: 2x Lumatek electronic dimmable 250/400

Brightwell has a great line and used to use their salt. I've been using Seachem's magnesium since day one. Not a hard parameter to dial in so I've stuck with it.

True to the element! I've been a huge fan of the whole BW line for ages. A little pricey but it has been worth it for me.

I once did a Triton test and my K was low. I dosed some of the blue bottle stuff and my montis seemed to perk up for a while (better PE). I'd like to dose K but need a reliable test.

I dose K also. RS Coral Colors is great. My colors are all better now that I do. K mostly impacts reds. My monticaps were very dull and more orange than red. Started dosing RS B and in less than 2 weeks it was a nice rich red plus it was growing faster than it had been. For testing I use Red Sea but you can tell by your colors

Thank you very much. I dose 10ml every day as my maintenance. Justin Credabel seemed to have a valid point at last years MACNA presentation (A six pack of marine and reef trivia) I closely observe my corals everyday and so far have seen no effects to better color and new growth on some. I can't be 100% that it is from dosing K but then again.........maybe. I do not test for it but may have it tested down the road but not in a real hurry to do so.

I use the same product, except I use abc and d. I don't test for trace elements although I do have the Red Sea test kit for it. I use the method mentioned in the video where it's based off the calcium usage. My corals look pretty good.

I saw vinegar as many dosed?

Thanks Aleks. Yes, I used to dose vodka a good while back and noticed good things from it. Wanted to start dosing a source of carbon again so I'm going with vinegar this time.

I also tried to dispense vinegar but got no results. It may not be guessing at a dosage of ......

I'm following a simple chart that basically bumps you up 5ml's every third day. I started out at 10ml and currently dosing 20ml.
