ive had 2 square anthias one for 6 months one for 5 months both female shouldn't one of them have converted to male by now?

I had two females and one male. After the male disappeared in my 180 gal reef tank it took some time for the dominate female to turn. Can't remember how long it took. I don't think there is anything you can do to speed up the process, so let nature take it course. Make sure they are staying healthy. I am sure you know that Anthias need to be feed multi times a day. As I understand it, they have small stomachs and therefore need to eat several times a day. Mine will only eat small pellets or small pieces of frozen food. I have tried using an automatic feeder to feed several times a day with small size pellets. Good luck
