I have an idea. You know how they put watermelons in square cages to make them square in Japan? What if we put a coral with a massive/submassive growth form and put it in a square cage to make square corals?

Or have cube frag tiles and have encrusting corals cover them.
I meant like cubic corals. Plus, some ”encrusting“ corals don’t actually encrust, but grow into a big ball like porites or goniastrea. I wanna use those corals to grow a cubic coral.

Something like a cyphestrea or leptoseris is what i meant.

Dont think your idea would work too well after it was released or outgrew its square form cage

How is that gonna work, exactly?
Put them inside of an acrylic cube and the coral dies as it hits the walls.

Encrusting works, and crouding works until the end.
