Squid Roe

I tossed a pinch of squid roe to feed my fish. My internal sump skimmer went berzerk immediately. Any ideas why? It was bubbling heavily for 2 days afterwards.

It usually happens whenever anything is added to the water....it is normal. When I feed my Lion silversides, it goes crazy for a day or two also.

Right on. I used fresh squid and thought that I probably introduced some nasties into the tank. Thanks
