squirt in mouth by palay

i was seperating a mushroom from some palays and one of them shot me on my lower lip and teeth. is this something i need to worry about? i rinsed my mouth out well. this happened 5 minutes ago

I would not worry to much, but if you start feeling sick then go to ER right away...

oh my gosh you need to get immediate medical attention. just joking do you feel funny or anything. i probably wouldn't worry unless you start feeling ill effects.

This was the first symptom I got when this happened to me. I was sicker than you can even imagine for the next 24 hours. I would take this somewhat seriously.

You will be fine, if it was true palytoxin you would have been dead before making it to the keyboard. Most people that get squirt and are sick are do to bacteria and bacterial infections. Palytoxin kills you, there would be no talking about it afterwards.

I was fragging some large grandis, they slimed up so bad and didn't know I had some on my wrist and when I rubbed my nose.. the slime got all over my lip and in my mouth. Immediately felt weird. mouth felt like metal type weird taste, then I started to get a bad headache, body pains like some one beat me with baseball bats.. nose running etc like a flu... symtoms lasted for a couple hours. even after I washed my nose, ran my mouth in the sink for 15 mins and gargled etc...

I always have to tell myself to shut my mouth when fragging zoos. Gloves and safety glasses are a good idea too. For whatever reason when I concentrate on making the cuts my mouth falls open.I got pretty sick once after fragging some, not sure it was the zoos or a bad taco that caused it but I was feeling pretty rough for about 4 hrs.

its had it happen to me but it just landed on my face not in my mouth and it made my whole face and lips swell up.. it freaked me out

I have taken more than one shot to the eyeball, one time it did mess me up pretty bad, all swollen and red!!!

I got hit in the eye too before... it was a large paly. felt like someone put draino right it the eye. even after 10-15 min eye wash, visine etc... it continued to hurt like hell. went to the DR. right next morning, eye drops for a couple weeks and antibiotic (precautionary), eyes were blood shot, blurry and about 1/3rd vision on the eye for a couple days. Always were safety glasses, moth cover and gloves now.
