So I found a micro aptasia. Maybe a tenth the length of my pinky nail. First one ever seen before in my tank and just squished it with my thumb. Tried to get it off my rock but was too small to get off. Will it grow back? Do I have to worry about it anymore? It dead as hell

Aiptasia can reproduce both sexually and asexually.[3] Asexual reproduction occurs when a small segment is separated from the pedal disk. A si[4]ngle cell can be enough for a new Aiptasia anemone to form.[3] The separated segment will start growing and develop a new polyp.”
Does that answer your question?

It will be back, you can count on it. You didn't want it didn't buy it of course it will survive. If you were trying to raise them it would be a different story. Truthfully any tissue will regrow and maybe spread. You need to burn it with kalk paste or seal it with krazy glue.

it will grow back, and any little bits that might have seperated and floated off will also grow

Let's see... I put 5 Nudi's in my tank, per instructions, I am still waiting to see them emerge from the holes I dropped them in...

Filefish - I think he had a thing for the Aiptasia. He would regularly pick up the bar tab and bring some more home after a long night at the club. Him an his girls loved to hang and eat on the zoas... But that file never did go down and eat on an aiptasia...

Aiptasia X - That was like Molly to them...

F Aiptasia - Hmmmm, this stuff is showing positive signs thus far.
