I've had my SRO set up on my tank for a little over a year now. About a month or so ago it started overflowing about once a week. I've checked everything to try and fix it. There is nothing blocking the Venturi, the hose is clean and clear. I have it set in 6.5 inches of water. I haven't changed anything other than adding biopellets over 6 months ago. The skimmer will skim perfectly for a week or more and then randomly overflow instantly. Just an hour ago I checked it before making breakfast, the cup was nearly empty. Then instantly while I was eating it overflowed.

Biopellets will do it. You just have to catch it at the time when it starts to overflow and adjust the skimmer or just try ans randomly lower the water level in the skimmer. You can also try and move the return of the Pellet reactor either closer to skimmer input, if it is not near it or further away if it is at skimmer input.

I've had the same experiences with my SRO 3000int, I often wondered why it happens. I'm glad I went with the 6" waste collector from the beginning, it has saved me more than several times.
I'm hoping to see some responses on here that could help us, thanks for the post!
