I picked up a plate coral about 3 weeks ago, it was super vibrant pink. The first week I would see tenticles, it would inflate and mouth would be open. I had a ich breakout which took my attention away from the dt tank and I was mainly focusing on the qt tank. I didn't spot feed any corals for about 2 weeks. Few days ago I noticed the plate coral losing a lot of color and Turing white ish. I noticed tenticles no longer extend and it doesn't inflate anymore. The past 2 days I have been trying to feed it brime shrimp but putting it into the mouth. I think it is taking a small piece but not sure. Is it a gonner?

I had the same thing happen to me but it was a Lithophyllon.

I placed mine in my refugium in low light and it bounced back to normal.

Took some time 2-3 weeks and tried feeding when tentacle's would come out.

First pic sick coral second happy coral

I too thought it was a goner.

So I should move it to lower light? Right now it's probably under 100-115 par which is where it's been since day 1...
