Stability and Cupramine

Is it okay to use Stability in sponge filter and Bio Max media to begin quarantine tank. It is the best I can do right now. I am taking a Purple Tang in a 20g long and was going to begin Cupramine but I am thinking perhaps the Cupramine should wait a bit. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes and yes. Assure you’re dosing cupramine at therapeutic level and monitor level with reliable copper test kit such as Hanna for full 30 days

Thanks for the quick response. I have not added fish for years. Salifert Copper was expired of course so I picked up Hanna HR. My display has several 8x8x4 Marine Pure blocks in the sump. They are very old and I have thought of replacing them. Perhaps I should cut one in half and place in 20 long as well to help with the cycle. Thoughts?
