Stability of Sodium Nitrate in Solution

Hello everyone. Recently the forums and especially @Randy Holmes-Farley and @Lasse were extremely helpful in assisting me with raising my nitrates through the use of sodium nitrate. I have continued my testing and today I hit the dreaded 0.0 for nitrates again. Fortunately this time I know what to do, so I dosed a few mL of my sodium nitrate solution in order to add about 2ppm of nitrate/day, as I remember that was the prescription last go-round.

My question is this - how long does the sodium nitrate solution stay "stable"? (sorry for the bad nomenclature for any chemistry studs out there). I mixed the solution about a month ago so I felt confident I could use it again but it got me curious so I figured I would come ask the experts.

Anyone have any guidance? Did I just make a big mistake?

It should be stable for a really long time.
I don't think anything in there is likely to react or precipitate, nor would bacteria break it down unless it was badly contaminated with other nutrients.
