Curious if anyone is doing this? Seems pretty straightforward, and the heads are designed to stack; just interested in any unanticipated issues.

Do you plan on doing auto water changes with the stacked heads?

Simon, you may want to check with tkeracer619 over on his Masterflex pump thread in that place that shall not be named. ;) He’s pretty much the resident expert in Masterflex pumps and just posted on there yesterday.

I’m using a dual head but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work stacked. Obviously, you’ll need to use the same head unit with same tubing to keep volumes equivalent.

No, thinking about a sulfur denitrator .... and whether it’s realistic to ask my MasterFlex to do dual duty,

I have a unit that stacked, but hasn't been used much. The only issue you'll encounter is that you'll need to purchase the correct screws to support both stacked heads. And of course, Cole-Parmer does not much that cheap (~$50 after shipping). You could always look for the correct size at the hardware store and hope they have it, but I was too lazy.
