Stag horn Hermit

Hey guys!
I got my Stag Horn Hermit a while back and noticed that he recently moved out of the coral?? Has this happened to anyone else? He left the stag horn coral for a plain shell and hasn’t even tried to go back. The coral appears to be doing really well and isn’t dying or broken. I’m not sure what to do. Will he go back in time? Should I be worried?

It may or may not return. It wanted to explore and was smart enough to find an empty shell
