I know after time even 316 will pit in saltwater. Is is dangerous to put on a Fowlr tank? Any help would be great. Thanks

I have it in the arms of two float switches and they've been in my reef for 20 years. In a FOWLR I would say it is OK.

IS it possible to have too large of a uv unit on a tank?
