Stalked Reef2Reef Awhile

Welcome only been here a short time also but everyone here has been friendly and helpful. Tons of info all over this site and well organized. Would also suggest To Google these 2 sites if you haven’t already. Bulk Reef Supply has tons of videos and add new often. The Mandarin Garden has a lot of general info but am currently looking through their fish digest its most informative I have found so far. God luck and hope to see your build pics soon, my build will start later this year, still doing my homework.

I’ve been checking out tons of forums for over a month now and love all of the information provided. It’s helped tremendously on learning new things. I’ve got a 55 gallon with 20 gallon sump, FOWLR is my goal. I’m nearing the end of my cycle, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate about 40ppm. Still learning new things every day, always have questions. I need a saltwater Buddha on call.
welcome, lotsa monks roaming around here.

Welcome to the R2R community and we’re glad you joined us !!

Glad you decided to join the forum, this is an amazing place to get some good info especially being new to the hobby!! If you like YouTube there is tons of great info out there.. I just recently started a channel and have some videos that could be beneficial!

Check them out and let me know what ya think!

Even if my nitrates are over 10ppm? I’d like to add a CUC first, some snails and maybe a couple hermits. I’ve been going back and forth on fish but definitely want a pair of clowns.

Welcome to R2R and the wonderful folks, information and help..

If you don't have any algae or detritus, it's too early to add a CUC. Let the good stuff grow, get a fish or two and a few weeks after that you will have some stuff for your CUC to eat.

Patience, it is the big word around here, Reefing is patience to cycle, to watch things grow, to keep your tank balanced.
I recommend to everyone joining to create a tank build thread.
1. You get to see where you have started and how much you have grown in this hobby.
2. We love pictures and to see what your doing with your tank.
3. It’s a great learning tool for all of us to see what works and doesn’t . We learn great stuff from each other.
Lastly the only bad question here is the one not asked...
