Stand beside the stand. Making more room!

Great ideas!

Ok I have narrowed it down to this: DIY Outdoor Storage Box / Bench - Sand and Sisal

I am going to build this but will stain it to match my stand. Also I will have it sitting on the floor no wheels and the back will be totally open.

Thoughts?

Ya'll stink I'm leaving this forum!!

You can't leave...who'll do all the bumping around here???

I like that storage box / bench idea. Looks like lots of room for all kinds of extra equipment!

I purchased the lumber today. Gonna cost me around $200 total. It's doing to be a 42x30x30. I want room for a nice sump and for a taller skimmer. :)

Oh I'm doing no wheels and no back.

I think it will look great. Will it be bench style or more like sofa table, storage on top?

I like the bench idea, would be great for a window seat, and I like the idea of top opening for easy access.

Are you going to line the inside of the wood with something that you can wipe clean?

I can see it with a hinged top and two doors on the front so that you have full access everywhere.

I need something also for my Rodi \ ato sump and a saltwater mixing station. The wife is not gonna let me build this just In rubber maid tubs in the kitchen. Lol. Imagine that.

Has anyone on here ever turned a closet into a compact fish room? I have a fishroom that doubles as my laundry room in my basement, but Ive always thought that If I lived in a apartment or condo I would use the closest closet as a fish room.

That would be seem to work great Torres only thing I would make sure I did would be add a fan in the closet. Even if it would just transfer the moisture through a door into the house it would be fine. Enclosed spaces and moisture can cause serious problems to drywall.

Smart! You could also paint the walls with Killz or drylock along with the fan to solve this issue. My fishroom does get pretty muggy sometimes, so I imagine that issue would be greater in a closet.

Just moved in a new condo and I have a fish room and a closet. I'm thinking of making the closest a frag cutting station. Also my water station. Think I'll be using wood and putting hinges on them so they fold up when not using them. I have a small dresser for all my other stuff also. I'll post pictures when all built..
