Anybody ever buy cabinet doors from Home Depot or lowes and use them on their aquarium stand?

Thanks for any info? I hate making doors.

My local HD does not make doors. I have purchased doors made by a shop made to my specs. All I had to do was stain and finish them. It's a process just finishing the doors in its self. I'm with you on that. It's such a process on making doors. Good luck. Check out online. There are plenty of places that will make doors

Yes. I bought unstained oak doors from HD to match my home cabinets and fiished them myself.

Both HD and Lowes have booklets you can pick up and take home with DIY doors made from about any wood and pattern you want. The company that made mine was in Texas and has since folded up but they have the same thing from a different supplier now, I bought some more for a remodel project a couple years ago. I even had my doors drilled for european hinges which was only a couple $$ extra.

Mine are similar to the Style 231 here:

That is nice.

Looks like ill have to make a visit and see if they have this size I need. I don't mind doing the framing....I got that. Don't want to screw up the doors.

You specify the size using the checklist they provide which shows how to measure etc. They are completely custom based on your measurements so fit any opening.
