Is it possible to use iron pipes and wood to build a stand? My thought is build the frames using iron pipes and fitting. Use the plywoods or thicker wood as panel and doors. it would be roughly 6ft or longer and 3ft tall. So I am curious about your input and thanks for your times

I think if you used 2" pipes that would give you decent strength. Problem with iron pipes is they rusty pretty quickly. You could use galvanized pipes to reduce the rust but then you have potentially toxic metal contaminating your tank. Also, the fittings are going to be higher than the pipes so you'll have to figure a way to even the load to prevent pressure points.

80/20 extruded aluminum might be a better option however it would certainly be more expensive. https://www.8020.net

Yea which is why I'm coatings with paint. I talk to the rep about the 8020 couldn't get the quote for what I'm looking for as well.

I do think the fit and finish of the stand you build would be better if the frame were not made of round pipes or tubing. I think getting the plywood skin to attach squarely and securely would be easier if the support members were square or rectangular in cross section. Just my two cents.
