Stand question

Don't shim in between the tank and stand (not sure if that's what you meant) only shim between the stand and the floor. Technically trimmed aquariums only need to be supported on all 4 corners, both ends is better than that, and the full rim is obviously ideal. Having said that, I think you are fine and it's possible the trim is a little off and will compress square to the tank and stand once it is filled. Just make sure the tank and stand are level and that all 4 corners are touching.
Ok thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking. Can't be to cautious when it comes to 100 gallons on your floor.

Well back with another update. I filled the tank and am still concerned. The circled gaps in the pic above still exist. Not sure if this is ok or not. Hears a few more pics..

It's just fine since you have a rimmed tank.

Looking good.....I'm liking it.

By the way, who made your five foot tank? I'm thinking of replacing mine....which is a custom built.

Do a Test fill in your garage or outside to see if it settles out, I think it will
