Progress on the 75g stand is finally making some headway! I have to drill holes in the top for the pipes. Should I make one big hole for both pipes or 2 individual holes? I can't imagine that it would make much difference, but since I know next to nothing about building stands, maybe there's a reason one way would be better?

Cut one opening large enough for both. Keep in mind you may have to access the bulkhead nut on the bottom (assuming it's bottom drilled) sometime so that'll require a little more space.

Thanks Beernut, I hadn't thought of that, tank is bottom drilled.
