Like I said haven’t had deer no idea how to prepare or eat it. Any recommendations on ways to serve and eat it? Besides the heart lol.

There's always Ohio where the beer is mediocre the weed is not legal but the deer and street drugs are plentiful.
If I had my license or a gun it would have been hanging in the garage with the mustang.
That used to be the thing when I was young. You knew it was season because you would see them dressed hanging in garages. Weird memory.

Pull off the tough outer skin, cut into three quarter inch slices, egg wash and breaded like fried chicken with only salt and fresh ground pepper. Into a bit of oil in a hot pan. Once the juices stop flowing like blood and start looking clear, I take it off. Most people would leave it on another minute each side.
No but that sounds much better then my initial thought to your question.
And I am appaled that there is no gif of a native American eating a buffalo heart here.

I have a baby one of those I am picking up at our swap in a couple weeks. Same guy I got my cardinals from.

Stuff has to come off the wall and old 10g needs moved out but here is future placement. Fixed the broken door pin with a .50c screw from Ace. Return has been changed to a sicce 1.5. Using the 3 for the mixing tub.

Back in the late 90’s, I lived in northeastern Wisconsin. Had a little 40 acre farm where we kept about every farm animal known. At that time, the kids got time off of school when the hunting season opened. Being from Chicago, I had never heard of such a thing and, at first, thought it was a joke. Also being from Chicago, we were known as, “The people from Chicago” where we lived. To say I learned an encyclopedia about farms and farm animal keeping would be an understatement!

@Mhamilton0911 saw you had a Smatfarm light. Have a lead on one used for this tank. You like it or no? Control and programming is the key vs the mars aqua I have to use.

Been asked to do that too. Hey do you want to jump in. She's my trix only 25 dollars. Ended that issue with theres just some bugs i cant cant kill turned around and left the house.

Top it off finding a dead person was intense.

The other memorable is walking in on a couple and it wasn't his wife. What do you say to the wife next time you service thier place. Hey I saw your husband nailing a blond sorry I'm not allowed to preform homicides.
 
Deer roast is bis. Slow cooked in a crock pot with potatoes, carrots, onion, salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic.

Although backstrap lightly seasoned and fried might be the best way I've ever had deer, simple and delicious.
